The Social Network

Alot of buzz surrounding this movie. But I didn't know about it untill I got an email through NIN.com, when they launched the movie's soundtrack with a free 5-track sample download. Music was dark, very dark, but I expected nothing less from Trent Reznor. I'm sure everyone knows what Facebook is and this movie is about Time's Man Of The Year 2010 : Mark Zuckerberg and how he created the social internet phenomenon Facebook.

Inception

I was quite busy when the movie was showing in the cinema, but finally I managed to catch this awesome movie. I've always liked movies that challenge the mind and gravity :) and with this movie it made you think alot. If you haven't watched it yet, please do.

The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus

I'd take my hat off to the Producer & Director for this movie. It was sad to hear of Heath Ledger's death, worst still for the team who was filming this movie 1/2 way. But Heath's departure didn't stop this show from being finished. Johnny Depp, Jude Law & Colin Farrell stepped in to help finish the movie as a tribute to Heath. I was impressed with the way it was all put together.

Ip Man 2

When it comes to 'Kung-Fu' movies, Ip Man made it more interesting when the world was introduced to 'Wing Chun'. But I found that Ip Man 2 just lacked a little something. Still, the movie was a good watch and interesting. Good to see other different types of martial arts going up against Ip Man.

Prince of Persia : The Sands of Time

I remember when I first played Prince of Persia back in the 80', I'm pretty sure you already know that this movie is an adaption from a video game. What caught my eye is the main character played by Jake Gyllenhaal, they made him look like the Price in the current games.

Action and special are excellent and top notch. Plus the storyline is interesting.

Clash Of The Titans

A movie about the Greek gods, I found it interesting. It was a good movie, lots of superb animation which made the movie even better. But I found the ending a little disappointing. Go watch and find out why.

Angles & Demons

I've read the book and had high expectations for this movie. I am impressed, the movie did keep to the main storyline pretty well and everything that I visualized was pretty much captured by the director. Although some parts were taken out, but I think those parts are best left in the book. Good call by the director. Anyways, I think it is much better than The Da Vinci Code and I won't mind watching it again.

Watchmen

I was wondering what the hype was about when they were advertising the movie Watchmen. I did some checking online and I thought it would be a weird movie. But after watching it, I has changed the way I look at it. No doubt the movie has great colors, costumes and interesting characters. But the storyline was interesting, although with quite a lot of conversations but all of them important.

What really caught my attention in the movie was the storyline. After reading most of the Civil War series that Marvel created a couple of years back, the Watchmen storyline was similar but it had a certain twist to the movie which made it interesting. Personally I haven't read all the Watchmen comics yet, but I'm dying to get my hands on the now.

A must watch for any comic fan.
