Gua Tempurong Trip

An adventure we will go! Alas not as many people turned up, It was 15 people but as usual some people can't make it at the very last minute. It was cut down to 9 people.

The trip took around 1 1/2 hours from Penang. The trip started early at 6am, where we all met up at and waited for the late comers. Be on time people. 3 cars transported all the 9 adventurers. We then headed out to have breakfast at a nearby store. Eggs and Toast was on the main menu.

7:10am
We managed to finish up fast and start our journey. Kept to the speed limit most of the time. We arrived in no time.

9:30am
Everyone is ready and can't want to start the adventure into the cave. Paid our entrance fees and joined another group of people. Total number of people under 1 guide = 21. Estimate time of finishing the whole course was about 3 1/2 hours.

10:30am
By this time we were quite deep in the cave. It was pitch black, only our flashlights shined the way. Everyone was helpful to each other. Helping each other getting down or climbing the rocky path.

11:30am
We are now hip knee deep in stream water. Cold but soothing water after a hot sweaty crawl & climb inside the cave. We made it to one part of the cave with an opening. Everyone took a short breather before moving on again. Now I didn't really have a good time walking on rocks, unfortunately my shoes broke apart slowly, first the grippy sole then the inner sole. Both sides! But I had a lovely cutie helping me out. ;)

12:30pm
After the breather we headed deeper into the cave. This part was all water. We had to lie on our backs and thread slowly, we also had to go under some waterfalls!

1:00pm
We completed the journey and survived! It was quite an adventure and a good work out too. All the crawling, climbing, sliding and swimming was quite refreshing. We all headed to the showers and got ourselves cleaned.

1:30pm
Made a move and headed to Ipoh to have lunch. We had local Ipoh food with White Coffee, where it was made popular. We also took a detour to a small biscut shop to buy the very very popular "Heong Pia". I dunno if I got the spelling right. LoL.

3:30pm
Everyone decided to head home.

An end to a successful journey planned by Me and Brian. Well at least we did something. Cheers to everyone who made it.

Pizza Bella

Was quite a lazy weekend. Saturday, woke up around 12pm. I slept for 12 hours! After completing some errands I took cutie out for dinner at Pizza Bella for some Italian dinner.

Cutie had the mushroom (Fungi) Soup, I had the Lasangna and we shared a pizza. Overall the service was good and the food is well.....good. Nothing to shout about. Still the best would be Mario's in Batu Ferringi.

Then headed back to watch a DVD movie, Bourne Identity. Since cutie hasn't watch it before and I found it intresting. That is my 6th time watching it. LoL. But I do recommend this show to anyone who wants to watch an action flick and not to forget the continuation Bourne Supremacy.
On Sunday, I had some free time to kill and Alex had mentioned that he wanted to go bowling. So off to bowling we went, but before that we stopped at Gurney Plaza where they had a camera showcase. Alex bought a Panasonic Digi Cam. I was look at the Video Cams, nearly bought one too. Lucky I didn't! The one I wanted JVC wasn't the best out there even with the new Hard Drive Technology. Although I did find the Panasonic 3CCD cams really nice. Oh well, guess I'll wait for the next show before I get one.

Oh well....it was a nice lazy weekend. Cheers!.

Movie Day - Corpse Bride

Watched Corpse Bride with Cutie. The movie was nice, great to see Tim Burton's style of using animation is better but still great. Overall the storyline was intresting. Makes me wonder what life would be like if I were dead. LoL.
