Exciting & Intresting Weekend
Back home in Penang....hmm....
Anyways the weekend was a very exciting & intresing exprience.
Friday 27th May 2005
Got some sleep on Thursday. Woke up at 5am and headed for work. Finished around 4pm got Melissa and around 5pm met up with Gene and started our journey to KL. After 5 hours (had 1 hour stop to have dinner) we arrived in KL, that was about 10pm. Made a short stop at Melissa's house to wash up. 10:45pm we left for a club called Zouk located somewhere in KL town. We were all a little tired but excited.
Suppose to meet up with Ian Khong, he was there for Stuff Magazine party. But alas the party ended early and he left just as I arrived.
Started with Velvet Underground, cover charge for the night was RM40 with one complimentary drink. Gave me lovely gurl Melissa a Vodka on the rocks as she requested, I ordered a Singapore Sling while Gene had good ol' beer. Music in Velvet Underground was House, good mix of styles. I loved the dance floor, wish they were playing R&B, the floor would be packed!
After 1 hour or so we moved to the Mainroom, I think that's what it's called. All the parties happen there, big place with some platforms, everyone was dancing to the Trance music. It was such a different exprience for me, but I found out that trance is very hard to get into if you're sober! LOL. No I didn't get drunk.
Stayed for another 1 hour plus and headed to The Loft Upstairs. The music theme for the night was rockish, punk music. Only knew 3 songs, everyone else there was dancing and singing to the music. Was a different type of crowd there nothing like the previous 2 areas. We were there till it closed around 3am, everyone was hungry, so we had some Lok Lok at side of the road then headed to Mamak in town. Finished everything around 4am. I managed to get a room to sleep in Cititel Mid Valley. After trying to get a place to sleep from Friends (who weren't around), went to 2 hotels and even tried YMCA rest stop in Brickfields. ALL were either full or out of Standard Rooms!
Thus ends end 1st day.
Saturday 28th May 2005
The day started after getting 5 hours of sleep. Went for brunch at Chilis, a nice western food restraunt in Bangsar Shopping Complex. Met up with the gang & Melissa's friends. Finished about 3pm. When Melissa decided she wanted to shift into Shopping Spree mode. LoL. Ken (MeL's good ol' friend), Melissa & Me headed for Mid Valley to shop. I bought 1 shirt. Melissa on the other hand, bought everything from head to toe. Keke. Around 6pm dropped them off home and went back to the hotel to get some rest before heading out to Rush for clubbin'.
I fell asleep and woke up around 10pm, ahh..i was late! Rushed out and headed to pick the gang up. Arrived in Rush around 11pm. As usual the club was packed, so packed that it was nearly impossible to move!. I was a bit suprised to meet a work collegue there, UNCLE LIM!! (that's his nick name). He treated us to 2-3 glasses of Chivas. Started with R&B music then changed to House and a mix of Trance till 3am.
Left and headed back after filling up the car with gas.
Had a nice and relaxing rest after a hot shower ;)

Woke up around 11am, met up with gang around 1pm. Left and stopped in Sg Buloh for Burger King and Dunkin' Donuts.
The weekend is now over......it'll be memorable one for me. Thanks goes out to Gene and special thanks to Melissa for the lovely company.

Movie day...pass
The gang and I have almost seen every movie that's worth watching in the cinema for the past 2 months. LOL. So we all voted to skip movies and go for a Karaoke session.
It was a blast! I have never sang so much in my life..lol. Thanks to Vincent for the room booking and thanks to Gene for the nice white wine. Everyone had loads of fun. Might be in the mood for another session soon, hehe. Now I know that I can't sing! LoL!.
Too bad, no photos...didn't manage to carry the camera along.

Crazy Work Day!!!
Oh My Gawd!!
Just after breakfast 11am till 2pm work was HELL!!! HELL!! I TELL YA!!! HELLL!!!
I just wanted to take the phone and set it on fire, then stomp on it.
LoL.
Relased stress by hitting the weights at the gym. After about 2 hours I had no more energy left. Headed to Gurney Plaza. I actually planned to buy a collar shirt and 1 pair of casual shoes. I was looking and touching and trying but I just couldn't decide what to get...just because I didn't wear my jeans! Aaaawww! I walked around for 1 hour looking around. Made myself promise to buy something tomorrow when I go again! Lol. ;)

Public holiday? Na..ah..!
Today in Malaysia it's public holiday for most, but not for people who work according to the Australia calender!. Not that I'm bragging or anything like that, would have been nice to have a long weekend.
Anyways I showed up for work in more formal attire, cause I seem to have forgotten that it's a public holiday. Crap. Bah!
Work work work.
Went for a small family dinner. Headed up to this place called Hilly Towne Restraunt for some chinese dishes. Had Crab, Fish, Vege & stuff in shells. LoL.
Later that night, went out for a drink with the gang, Melissa, Gene & Vincent at a place called Thumb? They served a variety of drinks, I had honey tea. Oh yea, they had a stage and there was this guy singing with his acoustic guitar and finger picking. Too bad he only knew chinese songs, but he did sing 1 english song.
Guess the highlight was when Gene went on stage to sing, admire his courage. Way to go Gene!
Melissa and Gene dedicated songs all around. Thanks pals!

Pubbing, Movie, Dinner, Clubbing
Another weekend gone past! Time flies when you're having fun.
Friday:
Work was pleasant, same old thing everyday. Later in the evening, met up with Gene and Melissa for dinner before we picked up some of Gene's friends and headed to Roxbury in Seberang Jaya. Everyone enjoyed the drinks and company, I certainly did. Some of us got a little high. LoL.
Saturday:
Got up at 2pm and managed to get online to check some mails and stuff before heading out to watch Star Wars Episode 3 with lots of Dell ppl. The movie was as good as expected. Although I wished we could have seen more of General Grievous. But for ppl who didn't know, LucasFilms made an animation which was shown in Cartoon Network. The story is based before the Movie, so you get to see how Anakin got that nasty scar on his right eye and a whole lot more. After the movie we had a small photoshoot with everyone. Lol, was quite an exprience.
Headed to Chasers for dinner, I had Spaghetti with Ham, good. The rest had Pork ribs and mixed grille. Right after that most of us headed to Chillout for some clubbing action. Glad everyone had their share of fun. Like I said, when you're having fun...time flies.

19th May 2005 - Star Wars EP3
It's Thursday! Opening day for Star Wars Episode 3. Last Episode that will finish the Saga!. Too bad I did not make it for opening night, would have loved to, but had to work. Tickets were sold out on Tuesday :(.
But the gang and me will be watching on Saturday 21st May 2005 evening, 6:45pm movie. Yay!

Kingdom Of Heaven
Overall it's a nice historical movie. Although it's lack a bit of uumph! Blood and gore is good, damn the censorship people to cut out some good parts including the love scene...hmm...lol.

Hiking, Laksa & Ice Cream!
Well after work today I headed to BJ to do some hiking. Met up with Melissa and Gene. Started from the base to the top around 5:55pm and back down at 6:00pm. Everyone was planning to go have fish at a chinese restraunt around Air Itam, but on the way down they were selling Laksa! so the first person to change plans was Melissa, lol.
Finished laksa and made other plans to have Ice Cream at Baskin Robbins around 8pm with Melissa, Gene & Vincent. Then after that we went opposite to have a drink at Mamak!. Lol. Talk about working out and then replenishing energy with all the wrong type of foods.

Great weekend
I'm back home. Ah, the weekend was sweet. Spent some time in KL, with friends.
Started the trip on Friday night around 9:30pm. Had Melissa as a passenger this time around. She needed a ride back to KL. Anyways we arrived in KL about 1am. Dropped her off at her friend's place and I made my way to me cousin's place to get some sleep.
Saturday morning, met up with Melissa and her friends for breakfast at a place named La Bodega in Bangsar, western style breakfast. Nice restraunt with a wide selection of foods and drinks. I had waffels!. Headed to 1-Utama for some shopping, bought myself 2 shirts. I was looking for shoes too but alas after looking high and low I couldn't find what I want. Headed to YSKhong Motorsports and hanged out till 6pm. Rested in Y.S house till about 10:30pm before Ian, Janin, Melissa & Me went out clubbing at The Loft (near sheraton). The club was nice, queue was long, thanks to Ian's friends who had VIP status we got in easy. As usual the liquor was Chivas mixed with Pepsi. Didn't want to drink too much that night, wanted to have some fun and enjoy the envrioment. The club played house music, was ok, but for dancing it does not give much choice of movement to the beat. Slept over at Y.S's house around 4am. Had a great time.
Sunday morning, woke up around 9am, had late breakfast. Picked Melissa up around 3pm and left for Penang.
I want to thank Ian & Janin for showing us all a good time. Thanks Man! Also to Melissa for being me lovely date for the evening. TQ cutie!
Ah, I feel quite tired now...I'm going to call it a night.

Friday the 13th...
It's Fiday the 13th May 2005. I am a bit paranoid when it comes to superstitions, I would keep a look out for anything out of the ordinary and make sure I don't get myself into any trouble. LoL.
Funny thing is today work was interrupted by the server having problems. Phones, e-mail & network connection was DOWN!!
WooHoo! Great news for us. The best Friday ever. Worked since 6am, lines went down at 9am and still was down when I left at 4pm. Everyone was in a walking around talking to each other, socializing with each other, chances like this is extreamly rare, in the office. All the agents who were on queue were lazing around, while the managers were running around to see if they could do anything.
So I guess all you Australian's and Kiwi's have to sort your problems yourself today! LOL.
Will be heading out to KL in a few hours time. Hope to do some shopping this weekend in the malls and some clubbing.

Movie Day
As usual, Wednesday, movie day.
Met up with Florence for dinner at Fish & Co. Gene & Melissa joined too. I had the Fish & Chips which was really really good. After that everyone voted to go Coffee Bean to have a smoking break, LoL. We didn't even buy coffee.
Planned to watch Kingdom of Heaven, but it had a full house. Next in line would be The Pacifier but somehow we all ended up watching Divergence. It's a Hong Kong movie, has lots of famous Hongkie actors.
Overall I would say, movie was nice, great directing, nice camera angles & great acting. But the storyline was too predictable and ending was typical.

Quiet Weekend
hmm...talk about a lazy weekend. LoL.
On Friday I...we had cake in the office to celebrate 2 of my team members birthday. Nice chocolate cake from Secret Recipe. Finished work around 4pm...I think. Then later I got a call from Melissa who was intrested in going out driving with me. LoL. It's been a while since I went driving the Hills of Teluk Bahang. Took it slow and steady and met up with Alex, Camsaw, Dan, Victor & Lau Chua at mamak before leaving to the hills.
Zoom Zoom.....we were at Teluk Bahang Dam where we took a short 10 minute rest before continuing on to Balik Pulau. Noticed the guys were actually driving slower than normal...well better safe then sorry. At least some parts of the Stage gave my passenger some pleasure. LoL.
Went home around 3am. On the way back I met up with my friend, chat a little then went home around 4am.
Saturday morning....woke up around 9am to turn off my alarm clock...then went back to sleep. Woke up at 3pm! LoL. Went to the gym with my younger Bro Edwin. Worked out till 6:30pm and went for Family dinner. Dinner was for mother's day. Went to a shop just behind Gurney Plaza for Steamboat food. Not too bad. Over all the food was good. Only bad thing is I was sitting at the walkway and people were moving like cars. Left the restraunt around 9pm.
Went home and just hanged out. Then after 30mins my brain struck a nerve. OMG! Saturday Night and hanging out at HOME! Managed to get out of the house and join Gene with Melissa at mamak in Pekaka. Then Gene's friends wanted to play Snooker, joined them for a while untill Melissa wanted to go home.
Sunday morning, woke up around 10am. Gave a morning wake up call to Melissa, cause we were going for Japanese Buffet at City Bayview Hotel. Hmm...the Salmon sushi was excellent. Still the same quality since they moved shop. Cheaper too. Then we went to Perangin Mall to shop a little and met up with Vincent. Coincidently we met Gene there too..wow. Then went to Starbuck to have a drink, I had a AFFOGATO Frappuccino. Not bad.
Got a call from Wesley, my old friend. Asking to go hiking at Bukit Jambul. "Ok sure". Had some company from Melissa. Vincent was suppose to meet up but he couldn't make it. Anyways we went up and we made it to the top. Not bad for first timer Melissa. YaY!
Later that night I had plans with Wesley to have some wine at a pub called O'rileys (not sure if the spelling is correct). Shared 2 bottles with him and Melissa and Vincent. Lol...Melissa was high after like 2 small glasses. Vince and Melissa left early. Me and Wesley talked about the old times and life.
Left around 11pm, was feeling a bit high. Managed to get home safely and call a friend out for a chat. Just felt bored and lonely. Thanks my friend.

Had lots of fun this weekend. Can't help but look forward for the next weekend.
On Friday I...we had cake in the office to celebrate 2 of my team members birthday. Nice chocolate cake from Secret Recipe. Finished work around 4pm...I think. Then later I got a call from Melissa who was intrested in going out driving with me. LoL. It's been a while since I went driving the Hills of Teluk Bahang. Took it slow and steady and met up with Alex, Camsaw, Dan, Victor & Lau Chua at mamak before leaving to the hills.
Zoom Zoom.....we were at Teluk Bahang Dam where we took a short 10 minute rest before continuing on to Balik Pulau. Noticed the guys were actually driving slower than normal...well better safe then sorry. At least some parts of the Stage gave my passenger some pleasure. LoL.
Went home around 3am. On the way back I met up with my friend, chat a little then went home around 4am.
Saturday morning....woke up around 9am to turn off my alarm clock...then went back to sleep. Woke up at 3pm! LoL. Went to the gym with my younger Bro Edwin. Worked out till 6:30pm and went for Family dinner. Dinner was for mother's day. Went to a shop just behind Gurney Plaza for Steamboat food. Not too bad. Over all the food was good. Only bad thing is I was sitting at the walkway and people were moving like cars. Left the restraunt around 9pm.
Went home and just hanged out. Then after 30mins my brain struck a nerve. OMG! Saturday Night and hanging out at HOME! Managed to get out of the house and join Gene with Melissa at mamak in Pekaka. Then Gene's friends wanted to play Snooker, joined them for a while untill Melissa wanted to go home.
Sunday morning, woke up around 10am. Gave a morning wake up call to Melissa, cause we were going for Japanese Buffet at City Bayview Hotel. Hmm...the Salmon sushi was excellent. Still the same quality since they moved shop. Cheaper too. Then we went to Perangin Mall to shop a little and met up with Vincent. Coincidently we met Gene there too..wow. Then went to Starbuck to have a drink, I had a AFFOGATO Frappuccino. Not bad.
Got a call from Wesley, my old friend. Asking to go hiking at Bukit Jambul. "Ok sure". Had some company from Melissa. Vincent was suppose to meet up but he couldn't make it. Anyways we went up and we made it to the top. Not bad for first timer Melissa. YaY!

only one day to go!
Another day to go till the weekend!! Damn! All the pressure to preform well in work is tiring. Every single day I try to enjoy what I do, but it's just so tiring sometimes. I just wonder how long I will stay at my current job.
Then there are times when I do feel a bit lost. I feel myself burning and hurt at the same time.
It's one of those days where you just want to sit down and have a nice cold Ice Blended drink and watch people walk by, thinking about how wonderful life is and all its beauty. I do enjoy sitting at Coffee Bean or Starbucks in Gurney. Sipping coffee and having some cheese cake. Mmmm :)
With some nice jazz playing, Diana Krall or Norah Jones.

Movie Night
Work Work Work.
After work I hit the weights at the gym. Worked out for about 2 hours plus. Just in time to meet Melissa, Vincent, Gene and William? (i forgot his name) for a movie night. Had dinner together first at Vanilla place. Had Lasangna! ooo..was nice, sweetest of all is that Melissa bought us all dinner. Thanks Melissa!
We went to watch XXX: The Next Level
Overall it's a good action movie. Ice Cube actually did a great job and was really a good XXX agent. Lots of explosions, guns, chicks and most important the cars & trucks. Was nice to see all the american muscle cars, Ford GT40, Classic Mustang, New Mustang, GTO and also the new pickup truck.

After the movie we decided to head for supper at a nearby burger shop. Er...while we were on the way there Gene got a call from Vincent saying that he lost his parking ticket! Aiks! Gaps! Hopped into Gene's car and went back to help Vince out. RM20 parking ticket.
Everything worked out and we were on our way again. The burger shop wasan't too bad, they had a nice stall setup and good hip-hop and r&b music, reminded me where I should plan to go this weekend. LoL.
Left around 12:15am and headed home when i got an SMS from a good friend regarding my DVD. Went by and picked it up and just chat for a while. Thanks.
