Birthday Dinners

It was a memorable birthday this year. Thanks Everyone!

Saturday


Dinner with Cutie at Tiffins Parkroyal. It was something different from going to Marios. Not a bad restraunt. Food was excellent, I had the lamb shank and cutie the rib eye. Service was superb! I would go back there in about 2 years cause the price is well a tad pricy. Lol. There was a band playing music too and they played "Lady In Red" for the lovely lady at the table (i sang with them too, hehe). Thanks for the lovely dinner Cutie.


Sunday


Hang out with a couple of friends. E-gate Secret Recipe and Starbucks. I'm glad to be able to hang out with friends like them. Thanks everyone.


Family dinner with everyone. This time it was at Fusion at Gurney Hotel. The food there is great if you're really really hungry for a mix of foods. Lol. Overall a good place for buffet dinner.

Dinner at Evergreen Laurel for their international buffet. The food was so so. Setting with panio music playing was great. Chatting and lauging at the table with the gang.

But I never did expect anything like a birthday cake from everyone in my team. *sobs* It's soooo nice of them. What topped it all off was the birthday present. A whole set of Dan Brown's books. I was kinda shocked, a set of those books aren't cheap.

The past...

25 years old. I certainly don't feel old, maybe wiser but not old. Haha. One year ago I was mending myself together, pulling through and trying my best to meet more people, make more friends. The whole year was a new learning exprience for me, understanding how to handle my emotions and learning to say the right things at the right time was tough. But I couldn't have done it without my friends, my good good friends.

Thanks for being there for me.

What's next? If things were just less simpler. No confusion, no distractions. It just might work out. But things aren't as simple as that.

Life goes on for me indeed. It's just a matter of doing the right thing at the right time. Everything will fall in place eventually. But what is it that makes me feel so low sometimes? A sudden feeling of emptiness, a sharp pain that tears a hole in me. Makes me feel so heavy.

Sometimes the answer is just right in front of us that it just manages to elude us.

Everyone is afraid sometimes...but there's someone you can always rely on.
