Upcoming Movies that I will definately watch in 2008...

One of my childhood Hero, Indy!

I love the X-Files, it would be nice to see what happened after the series ended

Movie : Stranger Than Fiction

This is an interesting movie that everyone should watch. Starring Will Ferrell as Harold Crick, it's definitely a different role from all the movies he has acted in. I don't want to spoil the storyline for you so I won't go into details. But if you get a chance, go watch it.

What I'm Listening to Now....

Armin Van Buuren - State Of Trance Yearmix 2007

If you like trance you must pick up this copy of Armin's mix. Superbly arranged and sounds great anytime. If you think trance is boring old music that is repetitive like the crap that is played on the local radio by some guy that is nicknamed the wizard, think again!. New to trance? Try these albums:

Paul Van Dyk - In Between

Tiesto - In Search Of Sunrise 6

Zoey in Penang

Zoey's in town and this time she stayed with us for about 2 weeks. So Ed was happy to have her around to accompany him. Lol.

We headed up north a couple of times to take care of some stuff, so Zoey had time to play with the other dogs. She enjoyed herself alot with some fur company.

You can view photos from her blog Zoey's Blog

Formula 1 Malaysia : Kimi Back in the Hunt!

Although a disappointing show in Australia Kimi has bounced back in Malaysia to claim his first Victory in the 2008 season. Massa didn't make it to the finish line as he spun the car at turn 8 and beached the car the gravel trap, a mistake that Traction Control could have help avoid in the past. Removing Traction Control means the drivers have to be more alert while driving these fast machines around the track.

Well Done Kimi.

Must play games if you own an Xbox 360!

Superb Graphics and Controls

If you're a petrol head who loves mods, this is the one to get

Action Shooter game to date!

Army of Two : Similar to Gears of War but with more strategy

Xbox 360 Reloaded

After my recent experience with the 3ROD issue on the 360, I looked high and low for a fix that did NOT require a motherboard replacement which would cost RM450 and months to repair. So here's what I found out from the internet.

It seems that the heatsink clips that hold the heatsink in place is the major problem. For more details :

...wtf...MS...wtf...

Anyways after doing the research I stumbled across this forum http://forum.lowyat.net/ and they have a forum where Xbox 360 owners talk about almost anything, so the 3ROD issue was a pretty common topic. It seems that there are some guy out there who can fix the 3ROD problem with replacement washers, although it isn't a 100% fix it does work.

I contacted a guy named Virgil who is located somewhere in PJ. He managed to get it fixed and running after 3 days!. Kudos! The best part...it only cost RM100. Like I mention, it isn't a 100% fix and there are cases where the 3ROD still came back. So another workaround is assist cooling the 360 when it is in use. I'll update photos of the 2 Computer Chassis fans that I managed to put together that helps cooling the 360 a little later.

Casio G-Shock G7700

I've always wanted a G-Shock after my original one died on me years ago. But I've never been a watch fan, for many years I have relied on my Mobile phone to tell me the time that is untill my 21st birthday when mum and dad got me a nice Tissot watch. I still like that watch, but it lacks some features that I found interesting in this G-Shock model : G7700. It is a simple digital watch, with additional functions like Dual time, Timers, etc. But what really caught my attention was the 1/1000 seconds stopwatch, which is a cool since standard watches are just 1/100.

I'd say it is has an easy learning curve. The wrist strap is made from plastic and the whole watch is darn light compared to my original one.

Thanks to Sweetie who got it for me as a birthday present, which is excellent. Thank You!!
