I've been living on this beautiful island called Penang for all my life. The laid back atmosphere and food is the best thing this island offers. But apart from that it's just so-so, maybe it's just me but I think it's time to try something different and make some changes. Time to take a risk and live the way I want and be happier. Time to get out of the routine and experience new things and challenges.
Been thinking alot about how things would work out so there would be a proper plan. But I've never had any luck with plans that are too laid out, things don't seem to happen the way it was planned. So I plan with details but with less expectation :) I'm going to see what happens as they happen and take action then.
....and so it has begun...

GRA Round 1 2008
It's back! GRA has done it once again and managed to pull off a good show this time around. Round 1 was held at Shah Alam once again, but this year there are lots of different competitors. In the Novice class there were alot of new comers and few seasoned drivers. It was fast and furious in Pro Class where all the seasoned drivers are.
Sweetie managed to get on the podium in her Automatic Kelisa, beating alot of manual and automatic 1.3 and 1.6 liter cars. Yay!. It was tough competition for her as she was placed in Class A instead of AA, but she drove with confidence taking smooth and clean lines in the course and finishing 11th out of 20 cars overall.
In Pro Class, the one and only person to beat is Ivan "DarkHelmet" Khong who has been dominating the event and was last year's champion. Alot of fast cars are in the OD category and with the return of the Lotus Elise cars the competition was tougher. I managed to finish 2nd in my class and 2nd overall out of 40 competitors. The first Subaru 1-2 on the podium for the 2 G cars.
Ivan literally smoked the competition
Hope to do well in Round 2 which is in June.

Mickey Teoh in his MR2 had some car trouble and did not finish all his runs. Julian Pang on the other hand didn't really bring his Mojo along with him this round but still managed to finish on the podium.

why don't they understand?
It's werid, I support these people who are suppose to understand english because it is their number 1 language. But unfortunately for me there are some of these tech-savvy idiots who, i guess don't understand english at all or they are just too technical to grasp the simplicity of the problem. Here's how the conversation went:
Tech-Savvy Idiot : Hi, I got this problem. We purchased a brand new computer from your company but we are having problems installing the Operating System. I personally have tested a couple of times and when it is setting up it gets a Blue Screen. I have also tried to change the Drive settings in the BIOS and still the same thing happens. Older models seem to be working fine when I try to install the same thing. So what's going on?
Me : Thanks for the info. Now what Operating System are you trying to install?
Tech-Savvy Idiot : Windows NT
Me : I'm sorry, did you say Windows NT?
Tech-Savvy Idiot : Yup, we're trying to get that installed
Me : Tech-Savvy Idiot, you do know that Windows NT is obsolete and does not ship with our new computers
Tech-Savvy Idiot : Yes I know that but we have to use it in our office
Me : Our computers were tested with only the current and latest Operating Systems and the reason you're getting issues with Windows NT is because it doesn't have the proper drivers to work with the new system.
Tech-Savvy Idiot : I'm sure something can be done....
The conversation continued with more technical talk, but here's the thing. I'm pretty sure you understood what I wrote down, but unfortunately this guy doesn't want to give up!
Such a simple problem made into a bigger one, maybe it's because they live too far down south that it effected their thinking capabilities. I dunno, I'm kinda sick of these kinda people. *grr*

Formula 1 Bahrain : Ferrari 1-2 !!
A Ferrari 1 - 2 win! Congratulations to Massa and Kimi! It was a spectacular race as Hamilton had some bad luck this weekend first with a bad start off the line and then later on in the race he rear ended Alonso's Renault. But looking at the replay it's obvious that Alonso didn't accelerate quite as fast out of the corner and a slight error on Hamilton for not judging that nudge. But that's racing.

It's April Fool!
Ahhh it's that time of the month again where playing a prank is actually allowed just because it is the 1st of April. I can't remember if I was duped last year or not but anyhooo I hope it's not a bad one this year, if I do get Fooled.
Here are some updated photos that sweetie managed to take of me :
