A long journey......coming to an end.

Every journey has to have an ending. It was sometime back when I started a journey on my own, I was sad and slightly depressed. But I'm glad that on the way I've had support from my family & friends. I want to thank everyone of you who stood by my side even when I was down, I really don't know how to repay all of you for all the kind gestures and words that have been given to me. That particular journey that I call "Loner" has come to an end once again.

Time to move on and continue forward, a new chapter for new experiences. I'm the kind of person who usually gives more than I recieve. I don't ask alot from anyone, at least I think I don't. But I try to provide as much as I can to those close to me, there is this saying that's going around "Sharing is Caring" and I agree to that. Being a loner isn't easy, most of the time you feel empty and lonely. I am fortunate enough to have a good cousin sis who advises me from time to time, a god-sis that stood by and accompanied me and friends who were fun enough to keep the good times rolling.

I've been there for those who needed me most and I'm glad that everyone is happy now. For those who are still struggling, don't give up. Life is less meaningful without all the challenges and if you're able to get up, stand up and continue to walkin then I salute you! I would like to apologize to those people who I've hurt or made angry because of my actions. Believe me when I say I never intended to anger anyone. But if you do have a problem with me, please come up and discuss it with me, I'm open to discussion, not violence!

Moving forward........... ;)

50 vs Kayne

Here's something interesting. 2 big names in musics hip-hop/rap industry going head to head with their new albums. If you didn't already know 50cent said that if his new album doesn't outsell Kayne, his solo career is Finished!

That's some bet huh? But to me it does look like an upfront clean fight between the two, we don't need anymore Drive by Shootings. I haven't listened to their albums yet but both of them definately have their own styles.

Good Luck to both of them!

GRA Round 3 Collage

Birthday Shoutout - Teletumbe

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENNETH!

GRA Round 3 - 9th September 2007

Once again it's was time for some AutoX action! GRA Round 3 was held at the Shah Alam Stadium car park area. The action was faster and the competition was definitely hotter than ever. Special thanks to Ian and Jiannin who have once again amazed us with their dedication to make this round work for everyone to play in. This time I was there for the whole event from morning till evening and it was interesting to see how everyone fared against each other in the Grass Class. The course layout for Grass Class was pretty technical when Ian decided to have a small tight chicane before the ball breaker corner. Sweetie did well this time around, getting lots of help from seasoned AutoX drivers. I'm glad she was brave enough to take on that challenge and didn't give up. That's the way to go!

In the afternoon came the Pro-Grass Class competitors to take on the show. As usual all familiar faces were around. Ricky Teoh actually came in a AW11 which had an interesting color scheme and cool rims. Ivan "DarkHelmet" Khong was once again the favorite to win and that's what he did as he drove a very clean event making him the fastest driver around with his Big Red Chicken Wing Subaru, 2nd place went to Mickey Teoh in his souped up MR2. The course layout this time was really fast for all the turbo and VTEC cars because of the 2 straights. But the remainder of the course was smooth and slightly technical. Lots of seasoned drivers actually got lost and made errors, something that is rarely seen from them.

As for me, this was the most fun round I've had so far. Although the small drama when I was in practice and Suby decided to stall at one of the 180 turns, reason being I didn't warm the engine up enough. But after I got Suby up and running, all was fine. My times improved over the 4 timed runs and was good enough to finish 3rd in class & 7th overall in the championship. I really liked the smooth flow of the course, it definitely was technical enough to give even the seasoned drivers a run for their money.

Would like to specially thank my sweetie for giving me the support and also helping me with getting water for the car. :)

Another one leaving....

Just got an email from a collegue of mine who is leaving the company to take on new challenges in Cyberjaya. He's a nice guy overall, he has been good to me ever since we met. It's sad sometimes to see close collegues leaving the company but that's life huh. When it's time to move along, it's time.
Alvin! I want to wish you all the best and good luck in your next role in whatever company you're goin to. It's been nice working with you in the past.

4 weekends in KL, wheee!

I feel like I actually live in KL over the weekends and after looking at my calender I have been! LoL. It's always nice to see the gang, they are the closest friends I have in KL and I appreciate their help and support over some things. I wouldn't give them up for the world. My deepest apologies to the gang if I've ever done some things that have made a bad impact on your lives, all you have to do is be upfront with me and let me know if I have done anything like that.

To answer all your questions on "Are you moving to KL?", the answer is "maybe". It all depends on what I can get for a job to survive down south. Expenses? I would say rental. But I've also got other commitments that I would have to pay off too. Food? that's not a problem, maggie mee + eggs are just nice. LoL. I believe with proper budget planning, everything is possible.

We'll see.

1st week = Volvo Drive
2nd week = just a visit
3rd week = Paul Van Dyk @ Zouk
4th week = GRA Rd3

Zouk 31/08/07 - PVD

I finally managed to catch PVD after 2 years of missing him! Woohoo! Unfortunately the rest of the gang didn't make it but luckily Charlene was there to accompany me all the way *thanks gurl!*. But anyways I was expecting the worst kinda jam and the worst kinda crowd to jump into being a Friday + public holiday.

Arriving at the club parking area around 6:30pm, there was no jam or traffic which was cool. We made our way to KLCC which was just walking distance and just walked around till about 8pm before we headed back to Zouk to get the tickets. No one was at the entrance yet suprisingly and we managed to get the tickets with no hassle. Around 9pm there were several groups of people around, most of them were chatting, eating & drinking at the Food area. So we just waited for a while till about 9:30pm before we decided to join the queue that lead into the Mainroom. Getting in was no biggie, hardly anyone in the club anyways. Lots of VIP tables around the floor. But we just decided to stay at one spot that could oversee the entire floor and were on the same eye level as the DJ station. The tickets also came with a free Heineken and unfortunately 1 isn't enough haha. I don't know who the DJ was that played the opening 2 hours before PVD stepped on stage, but he was pretty good. Around 11pm PVD worked his magic on the mixer and blow us all away with some good Trance music.

Club was nearly packed by 12am and well almost everyone was enjoying themselves. Weird enough there was this guy that Charlene spotted who was just sitting there not doing much. Hmm, I wonder what his problem was.......NOT!

I decided to call it a night around 2am and headed for mamak before goin to sleep. Talk about your healthly style of living 'eh?
