A change of lifestyle?
I've been offered an opportunity to learn new things, meet new people and maybe even travel a little. But it's a decision that would change my life. Sometimes I do miss the people I hang out with, but they have their own life too. Leaving it all behind seems a little hard when you're in a comfy position. Maybe the change might be good, maybe not. Guess I'll have to decide if I want to roll the dice and see what happens.
Decisions, Decisions, Decisions.

Thank You?
Do you really have to do the things you do? Do you really have to ask so many time? Don't you see we're all doing the best we can? We're short handed and you expect that number of people to do what a Full team can do? That's just plain freaking crazy. We're human too dammit!.
If you're not happy that you weren't selected for the promotion don't take it out on the whole damn team. Your Vendetta is your own personal war. It's because of this charade that makes the whole team feel less cared about and more stressed. Crazy mofo's, we're not super computers working like damn robots.
Get rid of some of the Red Tapes and damn Processes and Tools which slow us down and we just might make a difference. I'm sure some of you guys were at our level once. Don't forget that. We're all a part of a team but some people dare to say we don't work together? We don't help each other out? Jeez, that's just a lame excuse to use to get back at your opponent. If you didn't know it's making our lives harder. I like everyone who I work with and I respect the mgrs who are doing their jobs, but to those few who are waging their own war. Please leave us of it, it's Collateral Damage.
It's just degrading and sad.

Making Assumptions
Maybe they're too young to understand that or maybe they haven't had this kind of experience before. But everything starts small and when it breaks out it'll spread like wildfire and if you're lucky it won't make your life HELL.
So you hit a little bump my friend. Life is like that, complain all you want. But make sure you talk to the right people and stop talking behind people's back, it's getting annoying. Sure you can isolate yourself and be friendly to some people to their faces. But your face says it all.
Sometimes I just wish I could turn back time and change somethings, cause I regret even meeting people like you. Still I do still treat you as a friend and not a foe, besides I don't want to see my friends taking a wrong turn.
Ho Ho Ho.

Longest Bus Ride
Tuesday, November 21, 2006
It's the final AutoCross event for the year. Phew, lots of effort put into getting ready for these events. Driving down from Penang to KL and making sure the car is ready for the event. But I love every minute of it.
At the moment it looks like the final run for my Champion Kelisa. She has been good to me for the past 4 years and it's still a fun car to drive.
I finally got the Scooby. It's time to learn new things and techniques, but it's so much more fun around the cones ;). So I took part in 2 classes in GRA this time, switching from 4WD to 2WD and from a bigger car to a smaller car, lots of differences in terms of control.
But the event ran smoothly. We're a great community of motorsports enthusiasts, more surprisingly is that the event actually started a little late but finished Early!! That's a first! A salute to Ian, Jian Nin and everyone who helped organize the event. At least AAM managed to sort out the timing charts and everything went smoothly.
I finished 5th in Class for 1.3L and somewhere at the bottom for the 2.0L Turbo class. haha. Next year everyone, next year.

Mulittasking = Disabled
If we work faster to fufill the Measurments then human errors might occur. Not everyone can multitask like some special few, and I salute those who are mulitask enabled. If they keep pushing like this it'll not only effect the quality of the job but it also risks the entire group since we're all under one umbrella.
Don't get me wrong I look at this as a challenge but I'm just off my game lately. Must be the holiday season which is coming up. 1 whole week away from work like last year. Guess I'll just stick to Malaysian soil this year.

Feeling a little pissed and annoyed
I'm gonna speak my mind out about some people who are just inconsiderate asses. It's bad enough that we have those kind of people in the world but to have them in the office envrioment and in the same workplace is dreadful. It makes me sick that some people just don't know how to communicate. A simple meeting would resolve issues but I guess some people just feel that nobody listens to them. Jesus!! Get it in you head that everyone around you would be more than willing to help out even it you're wrong. No one is goin to lable you if you do something and learn from it. You only get labeled if you DON'T talk about it, dammit.
Plus if you've got a goddamn task to handle TAKE FULL OWNERSHIP!! Don't just do what you're told to. 'Cause you're the freakin' leader of that task. Then you'd have the time to talk behind people's back and say what you're suppose to say when you are actually asked face to face.
I'm just sick of this. All the attitude but for the wrong reasons.

R3 Time Attack Round 5
First off I would like to thank R3 and everyone who spent their time in running the event. A big round of applause for everyone of you!
But as a competitor and a fellow Autocross participent in a full championship I kinda expected a little more than just a trophy. But I fully understand the trouble and hardwork it took to just get the whole thing up and running.
I'm going to say goodbye to the Pre-Viagra (cars below 1.3Liters category) and take up new challenges in other classes next year.
A note to the organizers if you are reading this at all. Keep it up and I hope to see you guys running the event next year and CONGRATULATIONS to all the winners!
A fellow autocrosser took the time to write up on the event, here's what went down.
R3 Time Attack Championship 2006 Grand Finale Ends on a Muddy High
Round 5 and final round of the R3 Time Attack Championship 2006 ended on a high note yesterday evening, in the midst of tough muddy and wet conditions.
Close to 80 participants, with encouragingly, almost half made up of first-timers and novices, battled oversteer on the slippery and wet course, aptly named “Mud Pit” – an even more evil version of “Sand Pit” held at the same venue for Round 3.Hammond Lai, Team Proton R3 works driver and MME 2006 podium finisher, took top honours in the North Pole category and also set Fastest Time of the Day (FTD) with a scorching 87s fastest time. Hammond had already taken an unprecedented lead in the Championships proper, and was declared winner after 4 rounds.
In the Pre-Viagra class, Andy Kow in his Perodua Kelisa staved off challenges from Clement Chan and William Chong to win with a time of 90.41s. Chan Yau Koon, finished only sixth, but the points scored this round was enough to give him top spot in the Championships.
In the hotly-contested Eat Me class, which saw a staggering 22 entries, was nail-biting right till the end. Top Championship standings in this class were separated by a mere one point, where in fact, the top two tied for top spot. Soo Sing Kuan in his EG6 Civic proved his mettle and continued his winning ways, with a scorching 87.90s winning time. Soo was consequently declared Eat Me Class 2006 Championship winner.
After one podium finish to another, one of the winningest competitors in the autocross scene, Julian “Unker Pang” Pang, rose to the occasion to win Hung Class with a fast 89.75s. Julian staved off a stiff challenge by darkhorse Jerry Chew, who was also recently a podium finisher at GRA Round 3, and Gareth Tan, Julian’s stiffest competitor in the class. Gareth’s EK Civic had earlier experienced engine problems and could not continue with his car. In true spirit of competition, Julian loaned Gareth his 1.8 Wira for his remaining runs. Gareth impressively set fast times for a podium finish. TTR team manager and driver, Stanley Tai, drove impressively to take 4th position, with the Khong brothers - Ian and Ivan occupying 5th and 6th positions respectively.
With 88.07s, Mickey Teoh continued his domination of Rocco with yet another win and undisputed champion of 2006. First timer Teoh Fon Tatt in an EVO 6 took 2nd spot with Stanley Tai in a track-spec EVO III the remaining podium finisher.
Mickey went on to also take the Spunk crown, wrestling it from 17-year old Dominic "Dominator" Ang, MME driver and still youngest competitor and winner, with 91.9s. Dominic had already been declared winner of Spunk in the Championships after Round 4.
As part of its efforts to promote local grassroots-level motorsports, R3 is offering an MME drive for all winners of their respective classes in R3TA Championship 2006 next year.

one of those days
Woke up a little late and rushed to the office only to be 5 mins late. Then I get this crappy call from this lady who keeps complaining about how there are no service centers in their local area. Well after 25 mins or chatter and troubleshooting I just kinda got annoyed with her and decided to do whatever is necessary to get her off the line. I won't go into detail on this because its gonna be kinda boring.
Anyways later on, I had a visitor at my cube so I just helped out and chat for like 4 mins, let me add that I didn't take any breaks since I started. Plus I had a genuine problem that needed some thinking so I could sort out the problem. Well people in the office sometimes just don't really know what it's like...the job that I am suppose to do and additional roles I play.
But after a while I just sat down and closed my eyes. Imagining driving through the winding roads of Japan and passing by the town that has Sakura blooming. The rest of the day went along well, thank you very much.
OUT.

The Prestige
"Are you watching closely?"
The first few words that started the show. Big name actors like Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Michael Caine & Scarlett Johansson and not to forget David Bowie! make this show worth watching once, twice even 3 times. To make things even better the directors made a show that really puts your mind into a "What If?" mode.
Although a little predictable but nevertheless mind boggling.

Goin Solo....
I just wonder......i really wonder if it really matters that I'm around. I've always wanted to make sure everyone around me is happy. But sometimes I just forget about myself and I forget myself alot these days.
Sitting here wondering about my life, I keep looking back at the times when I forget and was reminded when that special moment actually hits me.
I'm on the brink of losing the drive that keeps me going. I appreciate all the moments that I have with everyone and I just want to say Thank You all for being my friend.
Someday, somewhere, somehow I will find that special moment that will keep me going forward, I won't give in that easily and I know I will find that drive.
But for now....i'm goin' solo....

The Jacket
I managed to stay up to catch this movie on HBO. Wanted to watch it when it was 1st show in the cinemas long time ago, but just didn't have the chance.
I love these kind of movies, they make you think and at the same time it just makes you wonder what life would be like without some things or people.
Well I don't really want to spoil it, if you have the spare time, pick this up.
Another recommended show is The Butterfly Effect.

Drunk
Anyways, I was just thinking....it seems that all my friends have their own life. Everyone should have one. But tonight lots of us came out to have a friendly chat and drink at the same time.
To my god sis, I would like to say hang on and don't give in. Life's tough, if it wasan't there would be no meaning to life. People change and time changes people too, blaming yourself isn't going to help, trust me I've been down that road. The easiest way out is to blame yourself. Not a wise move. There's lots of life out there, you might as well take time for yourself and refelect on everything that has happen. It's a high chance that it's HIS fault. Sounds like he's hiding lots of things. Well screw that! If it happens it happens if NOT then forget it.
Remember I'm half drunk while typing this.

WoW Update
It's been roughly 1 month since I started WoW. Lots of time wasted playing this but it's kinda worth it, beats doing nothing at all.
To those who want to know how I got through tough times, I made a decision to do things without thinking much, LOL.

GRA Round 3 - Shah Alam
Friday Day 1
Yes it was a working day for me. The day started at 4:30am, woke up and made my way to work. It was one of those weird days where all the cases reported were just plain weird but the world works in mysterious ways. LoL.
Work ended at 2pm and I headed off home to pack everything into the car. By the time I left it was nearly 3pm. I don’t quite like driving in the afternoon because of the traffic and also the speed trap cops. Yes I do speed sometimes, but no more than 160km/h. Haha. Then there was the heavy rain on certain spots on the highway. If I counted right I went through 3 blinding rain storms. The water spray from the cars in front made it nearly impossible to see anything further than 10 feet. Also drove a little slow due to the tires that I am carrying around, competition use tires (do I hear “You’re Crazy” ?). It’s called Passion people, Passion. Thank You Very Much.
Arrived 3 ½ hours later. It was also raining in KL, traffic was a little crazy at 6-7pm, especially on a Friday. I can only imagine all the people rushing home to get ready to start the weekend. So as I approached YSKhong’s workshop, I only saw Jian Nin and Keong. I tailed them and followed them to the GRA Pre-Party that is held in Cycle & Carriage showroom. That’s where they sell Mercedes and Smart cars, it’s also a workshop to service those vehicles. How in the world Ian manage to get a location like that? I’m was more than impressed. Though I didn’t really show much excitement. 4hours of driving and being awake for 12+ hours can really drain anyone.
I was the earliest person there, so I did what I could to help out. Then the crowd slowly appeared. Being Malaysian’s we have a custom of arriving late to events. Lots of unfamiliar faces, newbies. Then YS showed up and picked a seat next to me, we chatted for a while before Ho came over to chat too. Then most of the familiar faces, mostly winners and champions like Uncle Julian Phang showed up. The pre-party started with free drinks and food, then speeches by all the sponsors who helped GRA to make round 3 possible. This is also another thing that surprised me, there were lots of other new sponsors, GRA is definitely growing and I’ll be there to support Ian in any way I can. Ian also showed some videos from previous rounds.
After the party I followed Chan and friend to mamak to have a drink. By the time I finished it was 1am, arrived at Ian’s place and he made up a nice room for me to bunk in.
I was out like a light after washing up.
Saturday Day 2
Straight to the workshop at 8:00 am. Sorted out some things with Jian Nin regarding tires and she managed to get 2 pieces from one of her suppliers. These Yokohoma Neova AD07’s are really hard to find especially for 14” rims. Then I needed 2 more tires, so Ian suggested Eneos at 1-Utama. So I decided to give it a shot and see if luck is on my side.
I am indeed lucky to get all 4 tires before the event. Lots of people were surprise that I could find these tires. Although they are a little more expensive, they were worth it. After settling everything at the workshop I decided to have lunch with Judy, Aunt Bee Lan and Mum at IKEA. Mmm..the Swedish meatballs were excellent! Then I spent some time looking around IKEA and see what they had that I could buy.
Later in the evening I headed back to the workshop and the guys started working on my car. I made sure the settings were correct and were to my liking. So after some testing I then again decide to head to 1-Utama again to continue shopping. Then while I was walking around I saw Gillette having a promotion for their new shaver. But that didn’t really catch my attention, the GT4 competition on the PS2 is what really caught my attention. Fastest time of the Day wins a Motorola phone! So I decided to buy a chance to see if I could win a phone. I was 1 second slower than the FTD L. I will definitely try again when I get the chance.
Sunday Day 3 Race Day
Up early around 6:00am. Got ready and helped Ian out a little before heading down to Shah Alam Stadium car park for the event. It was early and I was surprised to see lots of people there getting ready and all. It’s not everyday you see an event that started on time with everyone ready and available. There were some minor delays at the start but when the ball started rolling it kept getting smoother from there.
Although I wasn’t really happy with the AAM people who handled the time keeping results. The format was simple, the times were written down on a paper with the drivers number sorted top to bottom. Once that run is done and complete, key it into the laptop which has the excel format and once it’s done sort it by the FASTEST TIME and voila you have sorted out the 1st to the last place person in that class. That gives us drivers less to worry about. But NOOO, they had to mess up! Everything was screwed by those people who were doing the timekeeping. Thanks to Jian Nin and Ian who jumped to action to correct those bozos.
Back to the action, the course layout was FUN! I liked it. A long straight, chicanes, slaloms, offset slaloms, 360 degrees turns. It had everything and that is technical enough and quite a challenge for everyone. Once again my competitor was all set to go, Chan and Shahrom. These 2 guys seem to have everything done to their Kelisa, I can’t help but wonder what is under the hood. But finishing 2nd behind Chan wasn’t that bad. Now I know what to do to beat him. LoL.
The other cars there were Lotus Elises, Drift Cars were there too, boy they did put on a great show.
Overall the whole event was great, except for the result screw up. Only 2 people had RUN the entire show and I would like to say thanks for running the event and a SPECIAL thank you for letting me sleep over.
Ian, Jian Nin & Khong Family
THANKS!

A pretty Sheetty Monday
I get a call in the morning about a computer that is brought in from the USA and is used in one of the Hospitals in New Zealand! Now, our support doesn't really allow any sort of service to be carried out. It first has to be transferred from the USA database to the NZ database which would take at least 1 working day. Now the customer was pretty good to me and in return I did all I could just to get this done.
Later as the day went on, you'd think it'll only get better but then there is another case. A sweet lady on the other end. She's kind of a regular caller to Tech Support, so we managed to communicated well enough. This time it's regarding a case that is suppose to happen today!. But looking at the notes, the darn Technician called the customer's land line and it rang out. See the thing that bothered me most is, THAT THERE IS A MOBILE PHONE NUMBER NEXT TO IT!!. So I managed to get in touch with that Technician and asked him to explain to the lovely customer. Then to make things worst he gave lame excuses like "yea am pretty good, been sick over the weekend", "we're short on people today, 2 people doing 4 people's work" (WTF!).
Then the punch line, "It was my bad that I didn't tray again" Oh my, oh my, oh my. That nearly blew my top. Lucky the customer is still calm and we were able to talk about this again. So I did my best again to help out. I sent some emails to the proper channels to make sure the service was done tomorrow. Then the Technician's manager gave me queries saying that there isn't any special notes about this and crap.
I had enough and since I'm already off work I just decided to call it a day.
Then when I arrived home, I was told one of the cars at home couldn't start. After checking it for a few mins, I concluded that it was the battery that was Flat. So I picked up a spare battery from the store and got the jumper cables ready to jump start the car.
Now a word of caution to those people who would have to go through this again sometime in their life!
DOUBLE CHECK THE POSITIVE (+) and NEGATIVE (-) signs on the batteries!
I admit I'm no expert when it comes to electrical stuff. Yes I was afraid, some how I knew I might DIE cause I wasan't really sure what I was doing eventhough I have done it before several times. You would have noticed I put a bigger notice before this paragraph, this is because I found nice caps that cover the exposed parts on the battery. After pulling them out, I made a mental not on which was + and -. The I went ahead to clip the jumper cables to their respective parts. THEN, Sparks from the spare battery...I was like WOHA!...Is that suppose to happen?
So a lesson to learn is Check Check Check for those signs and don't put the cables Crissed Crossed! I nearly killed myself and also might have burnt all the wires inside the car.
What a Monday.

The Journey Begins
I've decided to start playing World Of Warcraft and it's been an addictive experience so far. First started out with a 10-day free trial with Darius and Luther who have been playing for a while now.
Now I'm a registered player in that World. A world of Humans, Orcs, Elves, Hordes & Undeads. Lots of my time have been spent playing it for the past few weeks.
I am on the Perenolde Server. So if you're playing we can meet up.

Go-Kart Session
We were the only people crazy enough to go all out for 18 laps in 2 races. The first race was from a standing start which saw everyone jostling for position in before the right hairpin turn. Everyone was safely through and the race was ON. Lots of people over taking and taking advantage from the mistake made by the other drivers. Few of us spun out too..lol.
The winner for the first race was : Lau Chua
Then the 2nd race commenced after 10 mins rest. Another 18 laps but this time we went in reverse direction and had a rolling start to continue racing. Before the race I had to change Karts as the one I was using had issues with the steering rack. So I was given Kart number 22, which was fast and well balanced for some reason. I was able to take the corners better with this compared to the other kart. So I lead from the start and managed to stay in front till the end. Lol. There were a few pretty intense moments, me and Lau Chua were side by side and had so much fun overtaking each other right behind Alex.
The winner for the second race was : Me. muahhaha.
It would have been nice if Penang had it's own Go-Kart Track, but the trouble with the Malaysian goverment is that they don't put much support to motorsports eventhough they say they do. Starting a track is expensive, maintaining it is even more expensive. Several tracks in KL have decided to close down too because of the high maintenence costs. But we'll always have ways to keep ourselves occupied. LoL.

It's rare to have an Autocross event in Penang. Thanks to R3 for bringin it to Penang once again. Once again it's held in Batu Kawan, utilizing the car park area they made a massive 2 part course.Challenging and technical course this time with nice double sided slaloms and long right hander. Getting the most out of the tires is quite a challenge because part of the course was full of sand. Slippery enough to give Understeer!.Lots of competitors from KL came up for the action. All framiliar faces and lots of competitive spirit.
Saturday - Practice
The practice started around 4pm after everyone had their cars inspected and given the thumbs up for a go ahead. Everyone took it easy and learned the layout and also what to avoid.
Then we had a 1st class view of the D1GP practice session. Also had the chance to watch Keiichi Tsuchiya do some demo runs.
Sunday - Race Day
HOT! The weather was just unbearable. Lucky I carried an umbrella and a cap. Though I still got sunburned.
Was quite a slow start but as the day went on the car felt better and worst at the same time. The car wasan't setup to what I liked and that made it a pain when it came to right turns. Understeer is the technical term. LoL.
Finished the day with the 4th fastest time in my class. Overall I was quite happy with what I got, but it looks like it'll be pretty tough to end the year on the Podium.
Once again for D1GP, looks like Tengku Djan won with his Toyota Trueno AE86, congratulations. That's about pretty much to say about this event.

Equilibrium
This is a movie I read about 2 years back, but never bothered to watch it. But it wasan't a popular show anyways. I came to know about this show when I was playing Max Payne 2 just for the fun of it. One of the MODs for Max Payne 2 is based on the movie, which I found quite intresting.
Overall the movie wasan't too bad. It starred Christian Bale, who is now known as Batman. Well I'm a sucker for these kind of shows. If you're a Matrix fan you would be able to dig in and just enjoy it.

Dragon Tiger Gate
Suprisingly this movie is good for a chinese flick. But it's more of a chinese kung fu flick and the story line is just what they took of from the comics. Like I said I was suprised that it ended up a good movie because of the choreography of the all the fighting scenes and also the special effects. Good.
Watch it if you're just bored of all the movies and have nothign else to watch...

glory glory kelisa?
I took a look at my watch again. It showed 6:30am and there I was all ready for another road trip to KL, all set and ready to go. But I just stood there staring at my car and asked myself if it was worth the trip this week. Oh yea, 7 days away is Round 4 of the R3 Time Attack, plus my settings were pretty much screwed up from the last practice. Note the settings were suppose to hold that kind of stress. So I was offered a FOC fix. But why did have doubts about going?
It kinda hit me out of no where. My head just started to calculate numbers....numbers on championship points. When I was done, I told myself that....no matter how hard you try now, you can't be crowned champion this year unless something happens to your competitors. Believe me, I'm not giving up, I'd rather take chances. Then I headed back into the house, set the bag down and turned on the TV to just take a breather.
I was thinking about the car. It's done it's fair share of stress time at events. I'm proud of the car so far and I'm not doubting the cars' ability. But somehow I feel that there isn't any glory anymore. No one seems to notice these small cars. So what if I finished 8th overall among other cars that are bigger and more powerful. No one seems to take notice after that. I don't like to showboat or anything, but I just feel that no one really takes notice of anyone's skills in the Kelisa.
It's just mind numbing sometimes. Werid day indeed.

Dirty Vegas - Days go By
Feeling at my fingertips,
Pullin' at my skin.
You, leave me when I'm at my worst,
Feelin' as if I've been cursed,
Bitter cold within.
Days go by and still I think of you.
Days when I couldn't live my life without you
Days go by and still I think of you.
Days when I couldn't live my life without you.
You, still a whipser on my lips,
Feeling at my fingertips,
Pullin' at my skin.
And days go by and still I think of you.
Days when I couldn't live my life without you.
Days go by and still I think of you.
Yeah, days when I couldn't live my life without you, you.
Elizabethtown
I loved this movie. What I liked most is the character Claire. If there was a person in the world like her, the world would be like heaven. Overall the storyline was good, the main story was focused on the guy and girl played by Orlando Bloom and Kristen Dunst. That is what actually made the movie great. It's a good watch if you have the time.

short weekend trip to KL
So last week I decided to take a Friday off and drive down to KL to collect my rims and get my car setup realigned. An action that shocked some people, phrases like "You drove all the way down to get these?", "You're down here to buy something aren't you?". True, true. I don't deny those quotes and some others said by my friends and I admint "I am crazy". Plus I didn't have any plans to stay the night either. It was suppose to be 1 day drive down to get the stuff I needed done and drive back HOME.
But thanks to the Khong family once again (I owe them so much). They kindly asked me to say and the even provided me a place to stay for the night. So then I joined Ivan and his family for a session of indoor rock climbing. Wow, I liked that, I really really enjoyed it. Then mamak sessions with some other petrolheads. Spent Saturday shopping around with Ian, I am still looking for a nice suit which can be worn even if you wear jeans and a round neck t-shirt. We looked all over 1-Utama and couldn't find the one I wanted. Alas, we finished up and headed back. Then I decided to drive home anyways.
Spent Saturday night talking to Gladys. I did want to go out, but I just didn't feel like going out. So I stayed home, chatting the night away. 3pm on a Sunday afternoon is the exact time I woke up and got out of bed. (Note to self, waking up late on a SUNDAY is BAD) Unfortunately I had a grouchy Sunday just because I decided to sleep a little longer, 6 hours TOO LONG! Blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda.
Nothing happened that Sunday. Then it struck me, I kinda miss KL. The people, the cars, the chicks.

Moments that slipped my mind..
2 photo moments that I found on my camera that I forgot to blog about.
Last week, met up with Sherene & Pete at her place. It's nice to meet an ol' friend from the past, it's been a while. Though we do chat from time to time on MSN. As cheerful as ever, she always smiles. Ah, I did ask her to get me an Americal Football, finally I got my hands on one! I haven't thrown it yet since getting it. Lol.
Here's a photo of that ball! Dang, I forgot to get a photo with Sherene and Pete. Maybe next time then.
Few weeks back, when England was playing against Portugal in the world cup, which they lost again on penalties! I met up with some friends to watch the game at Bailey's Pub. But before I was at the Pub I attended my friends wedding dinner which had alcohol, so I took a few shots and a pint of beer. Guess I was kinda on cloud 9 when I got to the pub, I actually fell asleep a few times when watching the game. LoL. Apoligies my friends, we shall meet up again some other time for a couple of rounds. Cheers!

Pirates Of The Caribbean : Dead Man's Chest
Arrghhh! Captain Jask is back.
Can't say it was a really good movie, storyline is great. But the fight scenes are a little more comical this time. Be warned it's a 3 hour movie, i think. Nevertheless it was worth it.
I would blog more about it but my brain is exhausted from the work week.

another week goes by
Here's what has been happening so far. My team and I had a small gathering for dinner as a farewell to 2 important high positioned team players. Neoh and CK, thanks for everything you've done. Then at the same time, we managed to celebrate some of the July birthday guys and gal. A treat with a yummy choc cake from Jenny's Cake House.
So, we had dinner at a restraunt called 'Eighteen'. I must say I like the presentation of the place, the price is reasonable and the food isn't too bad either. I liked the friendly service that was provided, they were easy to work with to get bookings and sorting out the orders. Plus we planned to get gifts for everyone who is celebrating their birthday, though none of them knew about it at first. Lol.

Hanging hangover
Clock says 5:08am and I'm dissapointed. Really really dissapointed! England and Brazil are out of the World Cup. Somehow I managed to stay awake for the 2nd half of the Brazil vs France match, but now I wished I didn't. Poor poor poooooor performance by Brazil, you could clearly see that France was in control all the way.
But anyways I would like to say thank you to my friend Kevin for letting me attend his wedding dinner. I had a, well sorta, kinda good time.
Bahhh, this hangover is killing me. I'm going to try to sleep it off.

The Fast & The Furious : Tokyo Drift
Finally a Hollywood movie which uses Drifting as a part of the storyline. Although this is the best out of all the 3 movies, I still feel it lacks something from the main character. I mean Vin Diesel, now there's a character you won't forget. He's the kind of character in the movie that would give advise and all to another person. Paul Walker who was the star of the previous shows was also kind of a let down in part 2.
Still I feel the main character should have a little more edge in his part. I'm not saying the actor isn't good but the storyline's character isn't all that appealing and memorable. I felt that Han played by Sung Kang is like the Vin Diesel in part 1. Everyone likes them.
But that's just my ranting. LoL. Good Movie! Great Action! Catch it at the movies for the sound effects.

Books I've read..so far...2006
The Wedding
This is the first book I've finished within 1 year! Woohoo! Yea it usually takes me longer to finish a book with all the distractions of technology around me. But I loved this book, Mel introduced this book to me and now I know why it's one of her favorite novels.
Another book called 'The Notebook' is actually the prequel to 'The Wedding'. It's been made into a movie too. I recommend this 2 stories to anyone, you'll love it.

Poems
Alone
I am alone,
so very alone
I hurt,
so very bad
I am ignored,
just thrown aside
I am security,
for others to have
I am lonely,
there is no one close,
no one sees the pain
I am alone,
and no one knows
4give and 4get?
Sometimes I feel it's something that can be talked about and settled through the right mode of communication but then again to some people it might mean otherwise.
I know it's not easy to forgive or forget, I hope deep inside there isn't going to be a grudge against me.
So I'm saying sorry to everyone who I've well....made angry in any possible way. I seek forgiveness. For there if there was anything I could do to make up for all the sorrow or pain, I would do it without a doubt.

Before Sunset
Andy's Movie-O-Meter : 8/10
I managed to finish this show after falling asleep twice before. But only because I was too tired to stay awake, the show didn't bore me. Although it might bore some people. It's actually a beautiful show, it reminds me of those special moments in time of my life. Especially with the person you loved.
If you want to watch something different for a change and also see what it's like to have romance work out in real life. Watch this.

X-Men Last Stand
Andy's Movie-O-Meter : 8/10
Well it's suppose to be the last show for the movies. I loved the special effects. All the characters were involved this time and new villans were intoduced. Over all the show was good, the only thing about making a comic book into a movie, especially X-Men is that it's hard to make a good ending when there are so many different types of X-Men who evolved into something else in the future. But let's not go too much into the details of that.
I liked it.

another rear end....collission
3:50pm
While I was just rolling the car to a stop for a traffic light just in front of Turf Club along Scotland Road I was rear ended by a Proton Wira! I was like...damn, not again. So I got down and talked to the other guy who was rather nice, he apologized and all. After assessing the damage we moved to the side of the road so we didn't block other motorist.
Also after taking down the details and deciding what to do, which was to make a police report and all so he can claim the repairs from the insurance. After the incident I had to make my way to Gurney Plaza to meet up with Andrew to watch X-Men 2.
6:00pm
Arrived at Dato Kramat Police HQ to make my report. I've got to say that I wasan't really impressed by the system they had there. But the officers are friendly compared to the ones in Balik Pulau. But people are people, they have their own moods. After completing my report I was redirected to meet a Sargent upstairs but he wasan't in the office!
So since he wasan't there I went outside when I met the guy who rear ended me. He was told to come back at this time to take photos of his car. Lucky thing the camera guy was around and he took photos of both our cars. Guess I'll have to come back tomorrow to talk to the Sargent.
